- Problem: dozens of linked spreadsheets and cut/paste needed for customer-specific pricing

- User front-end does creates customer quotes using rules for features and options
Employee Time / Payroll
- Problem: Monday mornings took 4+ hours to reconcile the payroll from the business database
- Use business database as a back-end to calculate payroll in this app instead
- Customized for many unique company-specific calculations, shifts, 8- and 10-hour days
- Integrates with employee front-end, where they scan their badge and see vacation days, time off, requests for review
- Monday morning payroll is now one click, and an email is sent to the payment processor
Lawncare Marketing
- Problem: User was doing tedious editing and sorting on a spreadsheet
- Instead, read the spreadsheet, filter, edit, and print in a single step
- Future-proofed by giving customizable reports and labels layouts
- Labels were sorted by ascending odd numbers and descending even numbers, the order in which the sales team visited a neighborhood
Document Publisher
- Problem: Customer included printed documents with each sale, which were sometimes obsolete
- For each order, use the business database to create a packet of documents specific to that order
- PDF documents generated for customer and production at time of shipping
- Document filtering and inclusion fully customizable by engineering technicians
Customer Service Order Lookup
- Problem: business database manager had a clunky interface and no engineering info
